Kpop is known for the bright colors and super-pop styling but true kpop fans know that’s not where the inspiration comes from. It’s really the stories of hardship and hardwork. The heartbreaking moments V (TaeHyung), BTS and other idols have gone through that shaped them and brought them to this point is what makes KPop so unique. It gives us hope and inspiration to be our best selves. The colors for this painting were inspired with a “Blue and Grey” theme.
V has talked about Blue and Grey being about his feelings of hardships and overcoming them. In an interview: “I wrote “Blue & Grey” when I was at my lowest point, when I was actually asking whether I could keep going with my work or not.” Please Stay Strong, everyone. We’re entering 2021 and I think we all have a deeper appreciation for things after all we’ve seen and been through in 2020.
